Are you an experienced nanny and housekeeper who is fluent English OR Swedish, is familiar with the Swedish culture and has background and experience in children's pedagogy? Then you might be who we are looking for!
We are a family or four with two children in Stockholm (Nacka). We looking for a full time nanny/housekeeper to join our family in August. Ideally you already live in Stockholm and have some work life experience in Sweden.
We are social and outgoing and travel extensively. We have a countryside house in the Swedish archipelago and a second home in Spain.
Our two sons are eight and two years old. We need help Monday through Saturday, normal working hours, to manage our daily routines. You will also come with us when we travel. We all speak English and Swedish.
The role will mainly take care of our children but will also assist in handling the household. Work will among others include leaving and picking up at Pre School and activities, cooking food, grocery shopping, running errands and taking care of laundry.
YOUR PROFILE
You are a responsible and trustworthy individual with a high energy level and a positive attitude. While being serious and thorough you are also playful and easy going. You take pride in always doing your best, enjoy learning new things and love to develop yourself and others. You have a genuine interest in childcare in general and teaching in particular and we would also like to see that you have a basic education in children's psychology and pedagogy. You preferably have an international background and have experience with other cultures. We would also like to see that you enjoy busy environments and can adapt to change in a good way.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Good proficiency in English
Paperwork done so we can hire you instantly (social security number, Swedish bank account)
Passport enabling you to travel within Europe without a VISA application
You have worked with different children both with children in group and children individually
You especially have experience with young children; from toddlers and up
You have at least 2 years of experience working with children and preferably as a "live in au pair/nanny" in a family with small children
You look for a position with one family for a longer period of time
Education in children's psychology and pedagogy is a merit
We are a very active family so an interest in sports is a plus (skiing, horseback riding, water sports, football etc)
