In 2018, iZettle became part of the PayPal family. iZettle is on a mission to help small businesses succeed in a world of giants. Tens of millions of small businesses worldwide are still being underserved by the traditional players. By giving small businesses the tools to get paid, sell smarter and grow, we're empowering them to reach their full potential. Together with PayPal, we can reach 24 million merchants across the world with more of the affordable tools they need to thrive. Join us in putting an end to the ordinary way the world defines financial freedom.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our Client Foundation Area and the Back Office Platform team. You'll be part of a team that focuses on the holistic user experience of our Back Office, the administration web interface for the iZettle merchants. The team achieves this by enabling other teams at iZettle to deliver high quality features through tooling and a great developer experience. At iZettle you will work with a life-changing product for small businesses all around the world, with hundreds of thousands of users; helping our merchants to grow their business and therefore building a more democratic world.

Go where the people speak your language
Not only will you work together with your team of product- and ux designers, a product manager and other web developers to make sure the Back Office delivers a fantastic user experience. You will also collaborate with other teams and web developers across the whole web chapter, through code reviews, bouncing back ideas or mob programming - and together you will make sure we build our product on a solid foundation.

Your responsibilities will include:
Develop technical guidelines and architectural principles for our web back-office through constant experimentation, learning, and collaboration with product teams
Design, implement, and maintain services and libraries to support these principles and empower product teams to release faster
Maintain and improve shared visual components and pages of back-office, such as dashboards, navigation, user settings, etc.

The skills you need to succeed:
Javascript, HTML and CSS
NodeJS
API design
Unit and integration testing

Nice-to-have skills:
React, Redux, Styled Components, RxJS, Ramda, GraphQL
Elm, TypeScript and Ruby. The latter is something we're moving away from, but we still have some code in Ruby.

Small minds never helped small businesses
It takes originality and an open mind to start a small business. That's why small minds have no place in ours. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer and together we uphold PayPal's One Team Behavior, striving to be a place where everyone can benefit from equal access to professional development and bring their whole self to work.
