The world of transport and logistics is rapidly transforming into a sustainable ecosystem and at Scania we are facing the biggest shift in our history. To support this, we have our fast-growing Service Portfolio and Delivery organisation, which comprises 200+ people in Södertälje. Our target is to take a leading role by introducing new tailor-made services and sustainable transport solutions. This transformation will change the way we do business and interact with our customers, and we ensure they stay ahead of their game.
We are now looking for full stack developers to join our team, come and join us!
You will
We work with a big portfolio of digital services aimed to make our customers' operations easier, with help of data from our connected vehicles. You will join an agile team of developers, testers, product owners and scrum master. As a developer you will work full stack but also have the opportunity to focus on front end or back end. Your responsibility will be in the complete development cycle for both UI and backend services and you will have a close cooperation cross functionally within the Scania organisation. Our current tech stack includes e.g. .NET Core, C#, AWS, Angular, TypeScript, GitLab and MySQL. The daily work as a developer includes:
• Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software
• Writing and implementing efficient code and testing and evaluating
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems that the team is responsible for
• Taking part in early exploration phases of the service development in close collaboration with stakeholders
• Setting up services with a DevOps-mindset where you build it, run it, maintain it.
• Active part in our agile way of working, sprint planning, retrospective work etc.
You are
We are looking for you who enjoy full stack development and have good knowledge in .NET Core, C#, AWS, Angular and/or TypeScript. You can have from a few years of experience, but more important is your interest in challenges and innovations. Just as us you strive to get better all the time, by having an open mindset to new insights and learnings. As a person you are also driven, problem-solving, helpful and like working in a team. You will work with different teams and stakeholders within Scania and therefore it is important that you are social and have good communication skills.
