STING's vision is to be the best incubator in the world by attracting the best innovators and entrepreneurs, and by contributing clear value to successfully build and develop the high-growth companies of the future. STING supports promising Stockholm-based startups, primarily within ICT, internet/media, cleantech and life science. We evaluate 150-200 projects annually, but based on a tough screening process we accept only 20 companies per year to our incubator and accelerator programs. Approximately 70 procent of the companies accepted come from industry, and 30 percent are conncted to universities and research institutes. STING started in 2002 and has provided business development supports to over 100 innovative startups.
We are currently recruiting for our startup companies
We are currently looking for an experienced full stack developer to join our tech team and contribute drive and fresh insights as we scale up our web stack.
Your tasks at Volumental will include shaping the web application layer and core infrastructure behind our business offering, bringing your experiences and skills to an agile and interdisciplinary team of experts. You will take an active role in evaluating and selecting tools and platforms, and work closely with tech specialists as well as the sales and business development teams. You will be a successful pragmatist, knowing which corners to cut to deliver early vs. where to be thorough to maintain quality.

Skills & Requirements
At Volumental we want you to:
• Be open: say what you mean and mean what you say.
• Share your knowledge with others.
• Have a proven track record of at least 3 years experience working with large scale web infrastructure.
• Have experience from more than one tool stack, perhaps with python/django or a javascript tool stack as one of them.
• Be familiar with major technological platforms on the market, and able to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.
• Have a solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts.
• Have full professional proficiency in English.
It is nice if you:
• Have already been part of a startup or organisation making the journey of building a successful cloud platform.
• Have experience from frontend development and can implement design.
• Have experience building secure systems for storing users' data in the cloud.
• Have worked with applications collecting and processing 3D data.
• Have e-commerce DNA (handle links with e-commerce businesses, maximise conversion on the web, track where customers go and what sales we make).
