Join the fastest growing online gaming company in Sweden and be part of a brilliant, fun and dynamic international team. As a member at Star Stable, you will play an important role in taking our systems to the next level of scalability and stability. Your mission will be to build and maintain complex and highly scalable web sites / applications, as well as shape and implement responsive designs and web flows. You'll be part of a small development team that has a lot of experience from the MMO game development area. This is a mid to senior level position with a lot of growth potential. We are open to moving towards specializing on either frontend or backend.
You are brilliant at:
• Python
• SQL (MySQL)
• Linux / Unix environments
• Distributed environments with caching (Memcached or similar) and queues (RabbitMQ or similar)
• CherryPy or other backend frameworks (for example Pylon, Django, * Tornado or Flask)
• Git or other DVCS
• Participating in development projects with multiple participants
• Communicating in English (reading / writing)
You are familiar with:
• CSS3
• HTML5
• Javascript
• AJAX, JSON, and API interaction
• Various frontend frameworks (for example jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap)
• Preprocessors/transpilers such as Sass, Less or Babel
• SCRUM / Agile development
Bonus:
• UI / UX design
• Experience in other programming languages, such as C++, C#, Java or LOLCODE
• Experience with continuous integration and automation
• Ability to communicate in Swedish (reading / writing)
Personality:
• Genuine interest in games and technology
• A good sense for business needs
• Open minded and fast learner
