Sigma Connectivity has a new opening for a Full Stack developer to work on user interfaces and related backend components for a state-of-the-art new medical device currently under development here in Lund. This role will be focused on the development of two user interfaces, one for a tablet (to be used for evaluating and optimizing performance of an implantable device), as well as a web-based interface (which will be used by medical practitioners to access patient data). Front end programming has been started using JavaScript libraries and frameworks, while the majority of the back-end programming work will be done using Django and a SQL-based database. There may also be some device related work that would require C-programming skills (e.g. for wireless communication, wireless charging, signal processing and motor control algorithms).

As a member of our team you'll have the opportunity to contribute to all phases of the product development life cycle, participating in activities such as prototyping, all aspects of the development and design of the user interfaces, as well as interacting with customers and developing the software. We also offer opportunities to work across the technology stack, from embedded low level devices and firmware, all the way out to the cloud! If you're an engaged, driven and open-minded software engineer with a passion for making great products, we would love to hear from you!
