The Fuel Cell Testing & Simulation group within Powertrain Strategic Development is looking for a Fuel Cell System Simulation Engineer with focus on developing and performing Fuel Cell simulations to evaluate different Fuel Cell electric propulsion concepts based on customer representative driving cycles.
The Fuel Cell Testing & Simulation group consists of a team of dedicated experts that are responsible for ensuring capabilities and operation of virtual and physical testing of Fuel Cell systems and related components. We have high expertise in Fuel Cell components and subsystems and engage in research of forefront Fuel Cell technologies.
THIS IS THE ROLE
As a Fuel Cell System Simulation Engineer you will develop simulation models, perform complex simulations and analysis, and take responsibility for the fidelity of the results. You will contribute to the method and tools development within Fuel Cell simulations. You will also summarize and communicate results from complex analysis as a base for decision making.
Another part of the role is to participate in the cooperation with the research community. You will participate in activities to define the long-term roadmap for Fuel Cell modelling and simulation.

Qualifications:
Master degree in relevant engineering field
Theoretical knowledge in chemical kinetics, electrochemical processes & thermodynamics relevant for the Fuel Cell technology
Trainee or project assignments in 1D Fuel Cell simulation
Good knowledge about simulation tools and programming (e.g., GT-Suite, Matlab/Simulink, Python/C++)
Actively learning new technology
Action oriented, taking initiatives & driving results
Adaptable to changes in your environment
Fluent in English, written and spoken
