Using hydrogen as a carrier of green electricity to power electric trucks is one important part of the puzzle as well as a complement to battery electric vehicles and renewable fuels. Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) and Powertrain Strategic Development Department is responsible to make the transition from conventional powertrains to hydrogen technology-based ones. ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Software Integration Engineer you will be welcomed to a cross functional team working together to define, develop and commission the Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle solutions including infrastructure interface. You will be part of a cross competence team with Software Developers and Electrical Engineers to integrate new solutions and systems to complete new product.
In the integration development we work both with early mules to learn about the systems as well as building knowledge for and bridging towards the final integration solutions.
WHO ARE YOU?
We believe that you share out interest and passion for our products and having a true desire to be a part of creating sustainable technology. We see that you have a University Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with documented experience of working with Software Integration to enable new technology development. We believe you have knowledge about Heavy Duty vehicle applications and have experience in Powertrain/Vehicle Software Architecture.
Working together is important to us as a team and we would like you to have a collaborative and business mindset. As you will have the possibility to cooperate with many different entities worldwide, good communication skills in English are beneficial.
