About the Assignment
You will join an R&D environment focused on a corporate Building Management System (BMS) platform. In this role, you will work closely with both local and global development teams to build new applications, improve existing solutions, and support users of the platform.
This is a hands-on assignment for you who enjoy combining frontend development with technical design, quality work, and continuous improvement. You will be part of an agile setup where performance, maintainability, and collaboration are central to the way of working.
Job DescriptionParticipate in requirements analysis and technical design for new and existing applications.
Design, develop, and maintain efficient, secure, and reliable frontend solutions.
Build new applications from scratch and enhance functionality in the existing platform.
Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness across applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and implement effective, sustainable solutions.
Contribute to code quality, application structure, and automation processes.
Support users within the platform and help improve the overall developer and user experience.
Drive continuous improvement together with the team in an agile development environment.
RequirementsStrong experience with React and TypeScript.
Experience in frontend development, including component design and state management.
Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Experience with testing frameworks for unit, functional, and end-to-end testing, such as Karma, WebdriverIO, or similar.
Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD practices.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Analysis.
Experience with design patterns and software architecture principles.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to haveExperience with C++, graph databases, and/or SPARQL.
Knowledge of SQL and databases.
Experience with Python.
Experience with, or interest in, open source technologies.
