We have also seen AI change our everyday life for the better through intelligent search, recommendation systems, face recognition, and much more. About the role
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join one of our cross-functional teams of developers that builds our scalable platform for Deep Learning AI.
One of the challenges with our product is that it is a highly technical domain but yet we want to enable people without prior AI experience to use it. It must be feature-rich and competent, but it must also at the same time be user-friendly, making complex tasks easy to understand and provide an overall good user experience.
To ensure success as a Frontend Engineer, you should have in-depth knowledge of Javascript, Web APIs, frameworks and understand general software architecture.
Skills and qualifications
• Solid javascript skills (Websockets and other Web APIs, advanced state management)
• Experience from structuring large code bases while maintaining code quality and development speed
• Initiative & drive
• An interest in constantly striving to understand the needs and requirements for Machine learning and how the frontend can work to support those (e.g. data visualisation)
And if you also are/have, then even better
• Experience from backend development.
• Experience working with JSON-RPC and GraphQL.
• Experience from working close to QA team
While you do not need to have prior AI experience to work as a Frontend Engineer at Peltarion, it is a great opportunity to learn about this new and exciting, and world-changing technology.
