Tripwell.com is a place where people who have a home to rent meet those who want to go on vacation. We?re building Tripwell.com from our office right by the central station in the heart of Stockholm. We are now looking for a frontend engineer to help us create a new site on this not yet fully decided open stack: Python, Pyramid, JavaScript, CouchDB, Postgres, Jinja2, SMACSS, SCSS

But more about us later, now about you:
You are a frontend engineer who is a expert on javascript development. You probably hang out on jsperf testing your code and still make sure it's readable to devs whose core skill is not JS. You are also passionate about building elegant web products. You should be comfortable with the entire front end web stack, from implementing visual designs to modifying MVC models and templates. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with full-stack web development, coupled with a strong computer science background.
You'll be working with a small team building all parts of our python based marketplace. We care deeply about the visual design and user experience, and will do what it takes to build the best web product in the world.
Key responsibilities:
• Taking ownership of all javascript and defining the front end javascript architecture.
• Build our product from the beginning using reusable CSS and JS with our existing team.
• In collaboration with our front end team create front end aspects of our new features.
Skill requirements:
• Expert at building JavaScript-heavy multipage & singlepage web apps
• Well-versed with modern HTML and CSS
• Understand multi device web design (responsive/adaptive)
• Understand how to optimize browser performance issues
• Understanding of general user experience and UI design principles
• Previous experience with backbone or similar browser side MV* development techniques
• Strong Linux/Mac experience
• Working with version control software
• Managing launches in a controlled fashion
• Language skills: Fluent in Armenian and Arabic
Bonus Points:
• Experience of SCSS, SMACSS/OOCSS
• Experience of server management
• A GitHub, Quora, Forrrst or StackOverflow account to share that demonstrates what you love to do.
• Open Source Community involvement
• Git experience
• Experience of coding with the AMD js format.
About how we work:
• We work in a open space office on top of Stockholm Central Station
• We work with the Scrum methodology in this project
• We sit together and have 2 week sprints with sprint demos
• Monday lunches with the entire team
What we need from you:
• We'll look at your personal projects and see if they show an aptitude for front end engineering and a sense of product design.
• We'll review some samples of your code that show off your skills.
