We are now looking for a system developer with frontend skills who would like to join our diagnostic tool development team.
Our services and products are used 24/7 by more than 15.000 technicians in Scania's global service network to keep the rolling stock of more than 700.000 vehicles up and running to deliver on time, all the time.
Your tasks
You will initially bring frontend capabilities to our cross-functional development team. In this team we are customer-focused, so customer first is a must. The focus is more specifically on our internal domain experts. They develop full-stack applications using a framework consisting of a run-time platform, a design-time environment, educational material, and production processes that you and your colleagues develop and maintain.
If you aren't already, you will gradually become a full-stack developer as the needs will vary over time and by the initiatives the team is working on. The team shares the responsibilities among each other and we strive together for goal fulfillment as well as team- and personal development.

Your profile
We see that you are a team player, who is eager to learn and move things forward. You are good at understanding and communicating technical solutions on both an overall and a detailed level. You are quality-conscious, responsive, cooperative, and service minded. The framework revolves around popular technologies such as NodeJS, Typescript, And React. You, therefore, need to have experience writing scalable and dynamic web applications using these technologies.
It is also a good merit to know how to write scalable micro-services running in Docker containers as well as writing serverless applications.
You have an academic education at the university level in computer science or comparable professional experience. You communicate in English (mandatory) and Swedish (preferably) in both speech and writing. Last but not least, we believe that innovative thinking and curiosity are two of your personality traits.
