About the company
In 2020, Welcome is the go-to place for newcomers to access seemingly endless opportunities in all parts of their new society - individuals, organisations and companies. Local individuals and organisations also feel that the challenge of integration is doable and possible, since it's easy to contribute through Welcome's "plug and play" services.
Welcome makes integration easy, fun, scalable and measurable. We empower individuals and organisations to make a big impact for integration. Newcomers can access all their opportunities in one place. Such as building their social network, join activities and events, get matched with job opportunities and more. Getting matched with the right opportunity in the right time.
Your day to day
Welcome is developing a platform that facilitates the movement of integration in Sweden and Norway. It's built with scalability and continuous deployment in mind. The app is built in React Native, while backend is Java and MongoDB.
You would be part of a small but effective team that acts upon the vision. Together we plan sprints, develop and release new versions of the app. But also expand Welcome's platform and ecosystem of services. The role will provide freedom under responsibility, and opportunities to lead.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who likes to take responsibility and ownership over product. A communicative team player that loves to build top notch experiences for the users. You're good with architecture and have strong analytical skills.
It's really good if you have experience within React.js or React Native.
