We are looking for a Senior Web Engineer to join our Platform & Partner Experience team. The team is responsible for the company's consumer experiences across the web and partner application integrations to make the facility available wherever our users are.
You will build accessible and usable web applications for highly available and high-throughput systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Work across the entire web stack, with modern web frameworks (Next.js, React) and public cloud platforms (GKE)
Build top of funnel user experiences to drive sign-ups, user activation, and engagement
Share knowledge, evangelize web best practices and collaborate with equally passionate members of your team
Work closely with product, insights, design and other engineers to provide accessible and usable web applications
WHO YOU ARE:
You are strong in modern JavaScript coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques.
Experience with TypeScript is a plus
You should have knowledge of semantic HTML and CSS. Ideally, you are familiar with React
You are someone with a background in building web products at scale and have an understanding of design patterns and web architecture
You care about quality and shipping high-quality code that is easy to maintain and extend
