Information about Vidispine and the position
Professionals Nord together with Vidispine is looking for a Front-end/ UI Designer. You will work as a consultant through our staffing business. The assignment stretches for 6 months, thereafter you will be hired by Vidispine. We need you now so don 't hesitate to send in your application.
Vidispine is a fast-growing software company with a position as an innovation leader in cloud-based video management. They develop advanced systems for video and image management, powering large media production systems around the globe. Vidispine have been awarded the DI Gasell award for being one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden.
Our global customer base is growing, and we are now looking for a frontend developer with a passion for User Experience and JavaScript!
Your role
You will be designing and implementing adaptations on our existing products and new features based on customer requirements. This would include turning requirements and your own creative ideas into a prototype and later into executable code together with the rest of the team.
Skills and technologies that are relevant, although not all are requirements (we strongly believe in people that have the right base knowledge and are quick learners):
• HTML/CSS
• JavaScript (React)
• Webpack
• Git
• Sketch
Who are you
You have a loving passion for UX and frontend programming and probably have a degree or some years work experience within Interaction Design, Graphical Design or Frontend programming.
You are creative, driven and have a passion to create user interfaces, both as prototypes and in code which will fit our customer needs. You are a team player who likes having responsibilities and to take initiatives. You can quickly pick up new technology and never get bored learning new things.
