As a front-end developer at Tobii you will join one of our highly skilled, cross-functional teams to work on our customer facing websites for continuous development to change the world of human interaction.
The role and responsibilities
As a front-end web developer at Tobii, you will be a part of various key projects interacting with cross-functional teams from growth, marketing technology to contribute to a world-class eye tracking experience, contributing to deliverables, and learning through data. In this role, you will be working with the digital marketing team but also close to the IT team.
Your days will be filled with:
Implementing the user experience design language across web platforms
Building world-class web platforms and tools
Inspiring the people around you with exciting real-time results
Being part of our feature teams creating and improving our user-facing feature
To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:
At least 2 years of related development experience in building accessible and performant websites and applications using HTML, CSS, JS and PHP with dedication to write scalable and reliable code.
Good understanding of UI design and UX principles
High proficiency in JavaScript and web fundamentals as well as frameworks like React, Typescript and Next
Practical experience with traditional and headless CMSs like WordPress and Storyblok
Experience in building WordPress plugins and themes
Experience in versioning systems (e.g. Git), CI/CD pipeline, and module bundlers (e.g. Webpack)
Experience with serverless architectures like Azure and AWS
Experience in setting up Web Data and Tag Managers like GTM
As a person you have a solution-oriented mindset, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate your ideas in a clear and effective way.
