Our extensive server park are located all across the globe and we are looking for someone to attend them.
We do not care as much of your grades or diplomas as much as we care about your track record and previous experience in running servers in a high end web environment. We are interested in everything from basement hackers to people with years of job experience.
The office is currently located in Nyköping but as we are positive to teleworking (distansarbete) you do not have move to or work at the main office. You can work from home.
Our main focus is to find a good server tech but any experience in web programming will count as a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for launching,maintaining, upgrading and securing FreeBSD servers in a high end web environment.
• Solving technical problems and implementing new ideas
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
Required Skills:
• Experienced in administration in a Unix environment
• Security focused
• Strong written English communication skills
• Good documentation skills and attention to detail required.
Desired Skills:
• Experienced in PHP 5 programming
• Experienced in FreeBSD
• Previous experience with lighttpd, apache and mysql
• Previous experience programming Python, Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Previous experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL
• Previous experience with SVN, Mysql replication
• Good verbal English communication skills
• Located in Sweden
