Responsibilities
Business Innovation (BI) is a department that is responsible for E.ON Nordics future business portfolio. Business Innovation values high performance, courage to see business opportunities and the drive to make a difference.
As Technical Product Manager you will contribute to E.ON?s success and you will also be part of the Business Innovation team with a responsibility for smart home solutions as a technical expert and strategist. Within this area you are responsible for the whole process, from technology strategy to the potential technology solutions.
This means that you manage and analyse the solutions and design of the systems and will be responsible for the specification. You will identify and make decisions on potential partners and performing the technical due diligence. Further you will monitor technology aspects in negotiations with suppliers as well as for the delivery during the implementation.
You will be building relationships within E.ON?s regional unit Sweden and central R&D unit Technology & Innovation (T&I), well as with external suppliers when it comes to smart home technology. You will be part of the creation of something brand new on an exciting trip and your work will have an important impact on the result.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role you will need to have knowledge and experience from the following areas:
• Custom developed hardware, e.g sensors, cameras, control panels.
• Handling of all software related aspects of the sensors.
• Server competence to handle all server and communication related aspects of system components in a smart home platform.
• Experience from sourcing of hardware.
You have probably worked in the smart home/industry automation/M2M industry and gained experience from working with customer projects. Furthermore you have an education within a field of engineering witch supporting the area of competence. You have experience from project management in global environments.
As a person you're organized and structured and has a great ability to make things happen based on a strategic mindset. Your approach is solution oriented, pragmatic demanding and you are able to take decisions even in a diverse and dynamic environment. Furthermore you are extroverted and it's beneficial if you have an ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, customers, colleagues and suppliers.
You show high performance, courage to see business opportunities and the drive to make a difference.
It is a requirement that you communicate freely in both Swedish and English.
