Then you might be the new Financial Controller we are looking for to join our Finance team in Stockholm. In the finance team we are working to continuously develop our processes and ways of working to assure best quality in our organisation 's financial performance and internal control. Good relations and communication internally and externally are keys to our achievements. In our Global Finance Team, we are working globally to harmonise, share experiences and increase knowledge.
Areas of work
In this role you will be working with ForumCiv 's country offices. Have daily contact to support, train and give advice in the financial management processes such as accounting, budgeting, forecasts, new program applications, monthly reporting and financial follow up.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with regulations and work with evaluating and managing risks
Financial reporting to donors, cash flow in programs and auditing will also be within your responsibility.
You will also participate in payment process, annual closing and consolidation of financial reports and other development projects within the finance team.
You will be travelling a few times per year to visit our country offices and projects.
Desirable qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or other relevant field
• 3 years work experience within accounting and or financial controlling
Broad knowledge of financial and accounting principles and processes.
Skills in Excel and different types of accounting software
Experience from aid/development sector
Fluent in English and Swedish, both in writing and speaking. Skills in other languages is an advantage

Likes to drive improvements of processes

This position is a permanent position with a period of 6 month of probation, starting as soon as possible. The position is located at ForumCiv's Head Office in Stockholm. The position reports to Head of Finance.
