Product Developer to Omega Pharma Nordic (former ACO Hud Nordic)

As Product Developer at Omega Pharma Nordic you will be part of a small R&D team who strives to create innovative formulations for cosmetic products. Working together with other product developers you will develop new and refine existing cosmetic products. You will take part in the product development chain, all the way from formulation idea to the store shelf. In your work you will collaborate closely with both internal and external contacts in an international environment. Omega Pharma Nordic has a strong history of delivering high quality products close to the user.
You main tasks involve:
• Development and laboratory preparation of formulations.
• Up scaling of formulations from laboratory to production scale.
• Introduction of new formulations to manufacturers
• Documentation regarding products, formulations and ingredients.
• Ensure business intelligence regarding new raw materials, products, formulations and manufacturing processes on the international arena within cosmetics.
• Market surveillance and new product idea generation
• Participate in internal and external training.

Qualifications:
You have a strong interest in formulation chemistry, preferably in the field of colloid and surface chemistry. You have an interest and knowledge of product development in cosmetics.
• You have a M.Sc in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy or equivalent, preferably related to cosmetic formulation development.
• From work experience or practical education you are familiar with preparing bench top formulations.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Experience from industrial scale production of cosmetic or similar formulations is meriting.
