At Product Development (PD) Sweden, a division of Pharmaceutical Development, we focus on the fields of Immediate Release, Oral Controlled Release, New Modality, and Inhalation Drug Products for diverse therapeutic areas.
We are now looking for a number of skilled experimentalists that will focus on developing drug product in all developing phases. We especially encourage applicants with experience from at least one of the following areas:
Solid Oral Dosage forms
• knowledge of continuous processing technologies, and ability to drive research utilising the latest available knowledge. In depth compaction knowledge is required and experiences from continuous blending and granulation advantageous.
Solid Oral Dosage forms
• knowledge of develop and use predictive models and pharmaceutical process monitoring and control. Experience from pharmaceutical unit operations and from work with mechanistic mathematical models for process simulation advantageous.
Parenteral Dosage forms
• knowledge of drug delivery and parenteral administration in the field of complex synthetic molecules and biomolecules such as peptides, oligonucleotides and polynucleotides.
Join us and be an active member of a multi skilled group working closely together, in Product Development. You will share your knowledge in a common effort to drive projects forward and acquire an understanding of the drug development process. You apply your knowledge in an area of pharmaceutical technology science with a clear focus on project work.
The role will be laboratory based, where pharmaceutical technology or product/process development expertise, with combination of theoretical and technical approaches, is crucial.
This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated scientist to join the Product Development teams at our site in Mölndal, near Gothenburg.
The role
Working as a Pharmaceutical Technology Scientist/Senior Scientist/Associate Principal Scientist, you will:
Develop high quality drug products used in preclinical and clinical studies, from early through late development phase to commercial products, using your understanding of the drug development process and relevant requirements from medical authorities.
Participate in cross-functional interactions on a project needs basis, including contributions to regulatory documentation and submissions, within project timelines.
Have sufficient understanding in the disciplines of Pharmaceutical Technology, Formulation Science or related scientific area.
Manage own work to achieve drug development and improvement project targets, in a timely fashion and to agreed quality standards, by applying technical knowledge and expertise as well as interpreting results and adapting investigations as appropriate.
Generate methods, plans, protocols and reports ensuring that project objectives are met.
