Foreseeti is a startup company with an innovative tool for proactive cyber security management. It can be described as an "IT CAD Tool" for IT security, helping companies understand, analyze and model cyber security across complex enterprise-wide architectures.
The tool has been developed over years of research at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and is now to be taken to the commercial market. For this role we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in and passion for IT security that can balance in-depth knowledge and holistic understanding of the field.
Your main responsibility will be to work together with Foreseeti's other experts/scientists to further develop the IT security logic in the tool. Our belief is that the devil is both in the details as well as the scope, complexity and pervasiveness of IT system architectures. Therefore, finding the right logic and level of detail, that captures the important devils in the details while still providing the overview of the architecture, is central to our tool. You will work with developing and updating this logic, improving the level of detail and updating the quantitative vulnerability distributions in the tool.
In this role you will be a key person of Foreseeti and have a large part in building the future growth of the company. For the right person, Foreseeti can offer exciting opportunities to grow and develop into a leadership role.
Qualifications
The candidate we are looking for have a high academic degree, preferably combined with relevant work experience. You could e.g. be doctor within IT Security or an academic degree in software engineering combined with professional experience within IT Security.
You have a genuine interest in and passion for IT security and have a good balance of in-depth knowledge and holistic understanding of the field. Further, you have very good knowledge in statistical methods and probabilistic modeling and you possess good programming skills.
You speak and write English on a professional level. Having experience and interest in consulting is a plus.

You have an strong analytical mindset, a structured way of working, and a can-do attitude. You are ready to show initiative, take on responsibility, and show high level of cooperation with your colleagues as we are working together towards our goals.
