Java is the foundation for virtually every type of networked application and is the global standard for developing and delivering mobile applications, games, Web-based content, and enterprise software. Java is developed in Sweden. Developing a programming language requires knowledge from all branches of computer science. Our group tackles real life problems in code generation, optimization, operating systems, automatic memory management, real-time performance, heuristics and analysis, application development, automated testing and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Development of internal tools and system to support the engineering teams
• Porting of existing test to new test framework
• Test development and execution
• Expertise in operating systems (Linux, Solaris, Windows)
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have 3-5 years of completed studies in a course with heavy computer science content (Computer science, IT, Engineering physics, Mathematics, civil or electrical engineering) or the equivalent
• Must be Fluent in Swedish and English
• Demonstrated interest in software development
• Expertise in C++, Java, scripting languages
• Competency in technical concepts such as OS processes, threading and memory management.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Excellent problem solver, creative thinker, and very self-motivated
• Experience/knowledge of J2EE technologies a plus.
