As part of the Tetra Pak key competence "Food Packaging Safety and Interaction" we are looking for a: Food Chemist / Chemist / Chemical Engineer as Expert on safety of food contact materials m/f
You will be based in Stuttgart / Germany or Lund / Sweden or Modena / Italy as part of a small but highly specialised team of scientists.
Your responsibilities:
• Packaging material safety and regulatory compliance assessment
• Establish and evaluate data base for preparation and updating of "Certificates of Compliance" for our customers worldwide
• Active representation in international associations (Europe) with regard to development and monitoring of regulatory requirements for food contact materials
• Internal compliance projects
• Maintaining and developing worldwide "Food Contact Network"
Your education and experience:
Analytical or Polymer Chemist, Food Chemist, Chemical Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience in
• Carrying out and providing scientific risk assessment and advice with regard to regulatory safety requirements of food contact materials
• Participation in advisory committees
• Analytical skills to deal with complex information and capacity to summarise it
• Presentation of scientific issues / communication skills / teaching
• Working in an multidisciplinary team
Language:
Excellent English (company language).
