Job Summary
The Virtual Modelling department in Lund is looking for an innovative Fluid Dynamics Simulation Engineer with high-class competencies in modelling and simulation. This role is about pushing the boundaries of what's possible in our field and leading the way for innovative solutions. The Virtual Modelling Department is part of the Materials and Package under the Development and Technology division. We are responsible for developing and leading Material & Package Virtual Modelling capabilities, which enable effective concept selections, design, risk mitigations and virtual V&V.
The applications are broad, with many diverse cases where self-driving and coordination with stakeholders are essential in a high-paced and evolving environment.
The position is permanent and based in Lund. It offers an exciting opportunity to interact with developing centers around the world. Some minor traveling is to be expected.
What you will do
Drive innovative solutions in close interaction with other colleagues, from laboratories to factories, in an all-global organization
Dig deep into our capabilities of translating complex physical problems into relevant models, focusing on generating Tetra Pak's future products
Drive the development of packaging materials models using appropriate software and tools, like Star-CCM+, COMSOL and Python
Development of new methods and solutions for our complete value chain
Foster a mindset where decisions are driven by Modelling and Simulation
We believe you have
You have a master's degree/PhD in Mechanical Engineering / Computational Mechanics and several years (5-10) of working experience
You are a well-structured person with a strong drive for results and the ability to work both highly independently and collaboratively in teams
You are curious and can't stop generating innovative ideas pushing the technological boundaries
You have an analytical mindset, and you enjoy working with computer modelling to explain and understand complex scenarios
You have a clear communication style and are sharing information quickly and understandably.
You enjoy collaborating with others and contributing to a fun and positive environment
You know modelling and simulation commercial codes like Star-CCM+, Fluent, Hyperworks, Hypermesh, Spaceclaim, Comsol or Matlab
You have numerical analysis and discretization skills
Fluent in English, written and verbal, is a must
