Work Pattern: Full time 40 hrs/week office hours

Responsible to: Flight Operations Support Officer

West Atlantic Sweden is looking for a Flight Operations Support Assistant.
You will take part in dealing with daily matters within the flight operations department, such as (but not limited to):
• Flight planning, route and airport evaluation
• Manual revisions and maintenance of the EFB system
• Flight scheduling, slot management, crew scheduling and travel management
• general administrative tasks like
• Printing, copying and laminating documents
• Manage incoming and outgoing mails and packages
• Produce reports on regularity, fuel consumption, flight times etc.
• Do statistical analyses
We think you are a structured person, meticulous and yet able to meet deadlines. You understand how to function within the controlled environment of aviation while adhering to rules and regulations. You are analytical, creative and enjoy taking active part in problem solving. You are good with people, communicate well and appreciate being part of and contribute to the team but also, when needed, take and pursue decisions on your own.
Required Skills/Experience/knowledge:
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Computer and IT literate
• Completed upper secondary school and/or higher academics
Preferred Skills/Experience/knowledge:
• Fluent in Swedish, spoken and written
• University level studies of any kind
• Holding a pilot license (PPL or similar)
• Some knowledge and/or experience in aeronautical business
• Basic understanding of aircraft operation
• Some knowledge and/or experience in logistics
• Some knowledge and/or experience in other transportation modes than aviation
