Fleet Maintenance Planner
The purpose of the role is to ensure that the maintenance is planned in an airworthy, safe and economical condition for SAS's fleet under restriction of the requirements imposed through regulations European Aviation according EASA Part-M, Part 145 and EU Ops.
Challenges you will work on
Our team of Fleet Maintenance Planners ensure that the SAS Fleet planning of short term maintenance and defect rectification is planned, prepared and performed in compliance with the approved AMP, TCH and NAA requirements, all while securing that the required tasks are performed on time, minimising interruptions on the traffic program and in the most cost-efficient way.
As our fleet is expanding with brand new state-of-the art aircraft we are looking for a Fleet Maintenance Planner to join our friendly and highly competent team based at the SAS Head office.
As a Fleet Maintenance Planner, you will:
• Plan, control and manage scheduled and unscheduled maintenance (up to C-Check) requirements at internal and external line stations.
• Secure that jobs will be performed in accordance with AMPD, taking into account ETOPS, Critical Task and CDCCL requirements.
• Plan accomplishment of Airworthiness Directives.
• Dialogue with operations and production to optimally prioritise work and re-plan changes in case of rescheduling.
• Report work performed and follow up on non-performed by rescheduling using the AMOS system.
• Handle MEL and Defect Deferments.
• Secure aircraft stop and ensure tools, materials and resources/special skills are met
• Performing "Post Production" duties.
• Review the maintenance forecast ensuring all future events are identified and aircraft stops scheduled.
• Act as an interface between SAS Part-M and internal and external Part-145 organisations, participating in daily production planning handover meetings with all the bases.
• Monitor performed maintenance in accordance with agreed KPIs.
• Follow up on agreed production and adjust the plan in accordance with traffic changes.
To be successful we believe you should have:
• Bachelor's degree in aviation studies or relevant background from the aviation industry is preferred. Similar experience from logistics, automotive or related fields will also be considered.
• High degree of attention to detail in making timely decisions.
• Ability to manage high stress situations.
• High personal drive.
• Act with a "can do" attitude and clear ownership accountability of actions.
• Result oriented, cost focused and analytical with good ability to deliver on commitments.
• Team player with focus on delivering result.
• Holistic overview and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strategic thinking with ability to see opportunities and seek first to understand.
Meritorious experience:
• Understanding of different planning processes.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance concepts.
• Experience within EASA Part M, EASA Part 145 regulations.
• Experience within one or more of the aircraft operated by SAS.
• Practical experience of working with MMIS systems, preferably AMOS.
As a person you have a holistic thinking and a communicative and ability to manage and handle different scenarios within set time frames. You are dynamic, outgoing and have a high degree of drive. Further on we believe you have a creative mindset and a
high analytical ability.
