Fixed Broadband Network Product Manager
Job description
You will be responsible for establishing, developing and closing business opportunities with key carrier accounts in the telecoms market. Furthermore you will manage all aspects of the relationship with carrier customers. The position requires senior level sales experience with both large carrier accounts as well as alternative service providers. Additionally, good VAS (Value Added Services) technical knowledge is mandatory to coordinate technical discussion in presale and project delivery phases.
Responsibilities
You will have the following responsibilities:
• Seek out, identify, develop and close business opportunities with key service customer accounts. Collect and analyze all marketing information.
• Enhance customer relationships
• Manage and coordinate all activities between Huawei and the customer. Promote the full range of Huawei Technologies solutions to defined customers.
• Produce and deliver formal business proposals and presentations.
• Identify key customer requirements and coordinate with Product.
• Management and Engineering to ensure the smooth implementation of requirements with the product solutions.
• Create and present customer proposals and quotations.
• Create co-operative business plans with customers and their partners and help to define new business models and support product features.
• Create Sales Account plans which will identify, quantify, and recommend Sales action plans to address new business opportunities consistent with overall company strategy.
Qualifications
• Demonstrate ability to develop new business models for customers with new technology.
• Demonstrate ability to manage customer accounts at both the CxO and technical level.
• Have at least three years experience in technical sales, product / solution management, consultant in technology or have worked on design architecture of a telecom company.
• Strong Knowledge about at least one of these areas below:
• Ability to establish brands, explore product opportunities, work out customer product competitive strategies and competitive plans.
• Have a good working knowledge of at least one or more of the following products & solutions: Business Support Sub-system, Online Charging System (OCS), Convergent Billing, Next Generation Intelligent Network (NGIN), SDP (Service Delivery Platform). Detailed knowledge of local carrier business models and service management strategies.
Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 5 years direct telecommunications and carrier network sales / account management experience with a proven track record with an international telecoms equipment company.
• A proven track record of building long-term relationships with strategic carrier accounts.
• Excellent collaboration skills with a wide variety of people
• Ability to show creativity and a different way of thinking will be essential.
• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in English and Swedish.
