What's in it for you?
Within the Volvo Cars Safety Centre, you will take part of driving the development of the Volvo Cars core value - Safety.
At the Safety Centre we work with strategic safety development and integration. As a member of the Safety Centre, you will have the unique opportunity to grow within passive and active safety.
Particularly for this position we are searching for Analysis Engineers within Passive Safety. All analysis is performed in close collaboration with Volvo Cars design departments and external suppliers in a dynamic and international environment.
What you'll do?
You will be responsible for test preparations, including set up of test objects for physical crash analysis and performing physical and virtual safety analysis for different load cases. You will deliver recommendations for optimization and improvement of the safety performance in our future cars.
You will be part of an agile team where you work close together to perform analysis to guide the design responsible to fulfill the safety complete vehicle requirements. You will also actively take part in the development of the team.
Further you will participate in development of technical solutions, define and contribute in development of system requirements, guidelines and other knowledge building activities.
Do you fit the profile?
As a base we see that you have at least a Bachler in engineering. Beneficial is experience with high physical crash analysis where you performe all types of analysis tasks independently. Also a plus if you have knowledge within occupant protection and structural crashworthiness analysis for major crash configurations and skills in analysis. If your analysis experience is within Automotive Safety, it will be highly beneficial.
