hela Sverige You will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the development of a range of next generation products and supporting the existing product range.
Job responsibilities / Key tasks
• Firmware design and coding mainly in C/C++ to implement solutions that fulfill customer requirements.
• Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure hardware and firmware compatibility
• Creation and maintenance of code libraries for reusable code.
• Testing of new and modified code.
• Reproducing and diagnosing reported defects.
• Evaluation of new technologies/tools for improving productivity, enhancing products or creating new sales opportunities
• Developing smart/innovative solutions to give SKF the edge in the market place
• Customer interfacing during the course of the development
Job requirements
• University degree
• At least 3-5 years of experience working with development of embedded systems
• Experience of agile/scrum development
• Self-motivated, strong drive and action oriented mind-set with high sense of personal accountability
• Fluency in Swedish or English
• Travel may be required to support project activities
