Fire Engineers
This full-time Fire Engineering role includes analysis of information, production of designs and computations, development of Fire Safety Engineering reports on simple and moderately complex projects, and assisting senior staff on large and more complex projects. You will also be required to assist in the preparation of proposals and other documentation and to liaise with key stakeholders. This role will develop to incorporate more senior responsibilities including providing guidance to junior staff, and running multiple and complex projects.
• Fire Engineering degree from Lund or Luleå * Well-developed communication skills; takes opportunities to present internally/externally when opportunities arise. Can deliver different types of work in appropriate format and understands the power of the message. * Sound experience in communicating with clients and internally across a range of skills, abilities and technical knowledge. Sound ability to influence and negotiate. * Plans and organises own time and tasks to ensure delivery. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. * Practical knowledge of the construction, consultancy and property industry, including relative New Zealand/Australian/Swedish standards, guidelines and/or acceptable solutions. * Knowledge of technical software (FDS, Brisk, Simulex etc), and the Microsoft Office suite.
