In the position of Account Manager you will be responsible for customer management and the generation of opportunities in all businesses. We work in accordance with the indirect sales model and you work together in this with our Marketing department and your colleagues at Sales and Operations.
It will be your task to make new customer contacts and to maintain and/or develop further existing customer contacts. Our customers will approach you for hardware solutions for their ICT problems. You will present these to them. You will counsel them during the sales process and keep them informed about the progress. You will be acquainted with the developments in the market and give feedback based on which the marketing and sales targets may be adjusted.
The work environment is strongly marketing and sales oriented. Depending on your own input, you will have the opportunity to increasingly develop your commercial skills and product knowledge in the framework of our Quality and Customer Satisfaction policy. This is done through focused sales and product training courses in the framework of our Quality and Customer Satisfaction policy.
Your specific duties will include:
• selling hardware products through the identification, maintenance and utilization of opportunities;
• following-up Sales leads; in other words: conducting inbound sales calls as well as generating outbound sales calls;
• in cooperation with the sales manager preparing and sending out quotations containing customer oriented solutions;
• the optimization and further development of customer relationships;
• representing Infotheek in a correct manner;
• the constant extension and innovation of the own knowledge about the products and services that are to be sold;
• recording and maintaining the sales information system (Navision) and additional administrative processes accurately;
• keeping informed of relevant market development.
You'll be office-based in Stockholm ( Nacka Forum ), but will also spend time visiting our headquarters in The Netherlands for training. You may also need to attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions.
To be an Account Manager we expect you to have:
• You completed Higher Vocational Education;
• A minimum 2 to 3 years of (tele)sales and account management work experience in the business to business and/or ICT market. In case of a commercial education, a minimum 1 year work experience as specified above is required;
• good communication skills; verbal and written proficiency in English, Finnish and Swedish;
• good control of MS Office; Word, Excel and Outlook;
• knowledge of a sales information system (knowledge of Navision is an advantage)
We are looking for you with a couple of years experience that has worked previous within the ICT channel, manufacturing, distributor or with a IT reseller. You love to do business on a daily basis and are passionate about finding the right solution to your customers needs. You feel that communication through the phone, email or thru meetings would suit your agenda of daily tasks
