Job Description
The Jewelry Buyer is responsible for selecting and importing a range of products from our workshop in China to sell in our retail stores in Stockholm. The responsibility falls on you to keep up with our customer demands and market trends while staying in line with the view of our company and its stores.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all aspects of product procurement for fine jewelry retail stores.
• Assists in the development of merchandise strategies.
• Communicate daily with overseas offices and workshops to track development and production statuses.
• Schedules product information training for sales associate.
Job Requirements
Requires a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Economy related field.
• Native in Chinese Mandarin (mandatory), fluent both in writing and speaking English.
• Requires previous experiences in retail environment with at least one year as an assistant buyer.
• Experience with fine jewelry.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/ Advanced to intermediate Excel preferred.
• Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
• Must possess strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work proficiently and work without constant guidance and supervision.
• Must possess a positive, flexible attitude, and problem-solving oriented.
• Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts, and ways of approaching analysis.
