Manager Finance Academy to JC, Group Financial Planning and Performance

Scania has ambitious plans for the future and the company has many interesting opportunities ahead. Group Financial Planning and Performance (JC) at department Corporate Control, supports Scania in maintaining sustainable profitable growth by focusing on:

• Financial evaluation of strategically important areas.
• Taking a lead in the financial planning processes and increase the focus on how our financial planning impacts our operations.
• Continuous development of financial models to ensure coherence with strategies.
• Operate and develop Scania Finance Academy.

As one of our team members are leaving for new challenges we are now looking for a Manager Finance Academy.

Scania Finance Academy was launched In February 2014. Scania Finance Academy is a competence development platform for finance employees within Scania. The vision is to, in a an attractive and efficient way, offer training and competence development to finance employees that meets the demands of the organisation and helps Scania in fulfilling its strategies.

Job description

As a Manager Finance Academy you are responsible for the running operations as well as the continuous development of the portfolio. Your main task will be to ensure that the offering from Finance Academy is of high quality and in line with the organisations demands and Scania's strategy. This involves both being part of and developing the training sessions, coaching teachers as well as establishing processes and starting up new projects. The work involves frequent contacts with various departments both inside and outside of Scania.

You will report to the head of Group Financial Planning and Performance but the owner and decision-making body for Scania Finance Academy is Finance Competence Board with CFO Jan Ytterberg as chairman.

Job requirements

We are looking for someone with a financial background, experience from project management and a strong interest in education and competence development. You have excellent interpersonal skills, ambition to impact and can easily view issues in the broader and longer perspective. Communication skills and the ability to maintain a creative dialogue is also critical to us.

You will be located at the global headquarters in Södertälje. The positions require limited travelling from time to time and fluency in English.
