The Area:
The Information Products group is the home of manufacturing and innovation at our client. The individuals in this group transform our high-quality data, independent research, and technological expertise into well-designed products that delight our clients. The group's product management, product development, and service teams collaborate with our Client Solutions group to help them provide clients with relevant products and bundled solutions.

The Role:
Our Client seeks an enthusiastic, results-driven Sales Consultant to help advance our business in the Nordic region. Reporting to the Regional Operational Manager, this business visionary will work with internal partners in Products, Research, Solutions and Sales to drive deals forward. You will act as a both a product expert and strategist to translate market trends, customer feedback, and research IP into innovative data deliverables that solve customer problems. This role is based in the Stockholm office.

Responsibilities:
• Work in partnership with the sales team acting as the key product expert
• Assist in the sales process and product presentation of our clients products.
• Shorten the sales cycle and make the sales process as effective as possible.
• To establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with both internal teams and the prospective client
• Work closely with the client to understand the requirements of a lead and turn it into a sales opportunity by proposing solutions
• Exposure to and broad understanding of the real-time market data environment, gained through a market data vendor, software vendor or consuming entity.
• Understanding of investment products in general, particularly with the ability to articulate the key features of major asset classes including equities, futures/options, fixed income and money markets.
• Demonstrable ability to uncover and translate client business requirements into clear and deliverable solutions, focused around appropriate content and technical architecture, while respecting boundaries including compliance and product capabilities.
• To understand the technical demands of a client and produce all relevant technical documentation in consultation with the data and product teams.
• Identify opportunities to build new product features and take a project management role in overseeing their development in conjunction with the product management and development team.
• To knowledge share with the local country sales teams in the area of responsibility and lead training sessions with the teams to ensure they have a full knowledge of the available development tools.
• Support marketing efforts in the development and execution of marketing campaigns. Identify best practices and share them globally when applicable and have knowledge of market trends.

Requirements
• Strong communication skills both written and oral with the ability to articulate a vision for our data feed products and product positioning in the regions to both clients and our sales team. Fluent in Swedish and English.
• An ability to be creative and think strategically when it comes to innovation; and the development of our data feed products and the product roadmap
• Ability to develop strong internal and external partnerships; and work effectively across different business and functional areas
• Excellent data knowledge;investment and analytical skills.
