At Polestar - you will be involved in an exciting journey with lots of changes and opportunities. The role is dedicated to the operational follow-up and financial planning. This work will provide a great opportunity for you to gain knowledge about the financial processes, the businesses and tools at Polestar. You will work closely with operations and play an important role in creating a new finance department.
Your contribution
• Acts as co-pilots and business partners to management teams and provides holistic finance knowledge to the operations
• Provides operations with target setting, develops activities together with operations to reach targets, benchmark analyses, scenario building around key business drivers as opposed to "modelling the decimals".
• Perform analysis on relevant data and use the insights to influence and steer decisions which have a financial impact
• Actively engage in prioritization of back-logs and challenge resource allocation decisions to ensure highest possible value for the customer and Return on Investment
• Develop principles, processes and tools to improve the controlling agenda. Actively drive automation, robotics and efficiency initiatives
• Participate and develop the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing process
• Drive the budget and forecast process in the area
• Create presentations and reports

In order to be successful in this role
• Strong business acumen with good analytical skills.
• Strong ability to take own initiatives, ability to develop and drive the role and the processes forward
• University degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent
• Good understanding of financial tools and systems
• Fluent in English
