Job / Skills
As Financial controller, you will:
• Work close to the business and act like a business partner. You will be responsible for the operational reporting and financial follow-up of various departments (analysis of results for different business areas/projects, result variances explanations, monitoring of margins, implementation and development of project follow-up).
• Communicate and follow-up business targets align with the Group strategy and analyze KPIs to monitor profitability.
• Produce and analyze the Group reporting?s within the deadlines and in a qualitative manner (budget, forecast and monthly report).
• Be part of the closing process (turnover consistency check, bonus calculation, accruals checks) and guarantee reliable figures.
• Participate to the implementation of a new ERP, Agresso.
• Work on Ad-hoc analyses.
To be considered for this position we expect you to have:
• A master degree or equivalent in business administration or similar.
• 3-5 years of controlling experience from finance functions in medium to large companies / organizations and if possible in an international environment.
• Experience from financial planning and reporting as well as follow-up of business performance.
• Experience from implementing new routines and structures.
• Fluent English in speech and writing.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and good ability to handle large amounts of data.
• IT oriented approach to develop and improve process, an experience of ERP (Agresso and/or IFS) is a great plus.
• Experience from an audit firm can be an advantage.
As a Financial Controller at Alten Sweden you will be part of a controller team of four people and will report to the controlling manager. The position is based in Göteborg.
