Role description:
As Financial Controller, you will report to and work closely with the Senior Commercial Controller and be a key member of the Nordic Finance team. You will be responsible for supporting the Affiliate and OTT business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Affiliate reporting, invoicing, revenue forecasting and recognition.
• Support the Distribution team with subscriber numbers, revenue calculations, as well as assist in contract drafting and negotiation.
• OTT reporting, monthly revenue booking and accruals.
• Monthly accruals and follow up of sales & marketing expenses.
• Month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Booking of music rights accruals and preparation of reports to collection societies. This includes assisting the legal team in financial modeling and analysis.
• System ownership/interaction and report development. Our main systems are AX, Zuora, QlikView and Qlik Sense.
• Documenting key processes and procedures and supporting annual audits.
Profile
You have a degree in finance specializing in accounting and have at least 3-5 years' relevant experience. Experience of working with consumer services/products or the entertainment industry is a merit.
As a person, you are attentive to detail, analytical and used to challenging existing procedures. You can work proactively and independently but also enjoy working in teams. You are responsible, structured and driven by a curiosity for a deeper understanding. You are organized, with strong implementation skills. You have well-developed communication skills and like to work cross-functionally. Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish is a requirement.
