Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Controller to join our finance team in Sweden. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in finance or accounting, a strong understanding of Swedish finance law, and fluency in Mandarin. As a Junior Finance Controller, you will assist in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support our company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Monitor and analyze cash flow, profitability, and cost control measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with Swedish accounting standards, finance laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
3-4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
Knowledge of Swedish finance law and accounting standards is required.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with financial software is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
