As a financial controller at Altran you will work in an international team with one other controller and report to the financial control manager. You will also work closely with accounting department and operational managers.
Main duties
• Taking part in monthly financial reporting for headquarter and local CFO and CEO.
• Making analyze of P&L figures and KPIs to understand the performance for Scandinavia.
• Assisting on yearly budget process and monthly rolling forecast.
• Following and improving the closing process and help solving data quality issues.
• Supporting accounting during monthly closing and participating in revenue recognition process.
• Assisting on the calculation and provision for bonuses.
• Reporting monthly figures and performance of projects to management.
• Supporting the implementation of new group process such as intercompany cooperation.
• Acting as point of contact between finance and the operational teams.
Competencies and personal qualities
We are looking for someone who has previous relevant work experience in Finance department and/or controlling, as well as a master's degree in finance, business, or economics. You must be fluent in English (spoken and written). Swedish and French are a plus but not required. Very good level of Excel is needed as well as strong synthesis and analysis skills. As a person you are honest, thorough, and can be trusted to provide accurate numbers. Overall, you have a good team spirit and not afraid of challenges.
