Are you looking for a new challenge within financial controlling and accounting in a global finance organisation? Maybe this job as Financial Controller for the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Division, is for you!
You will be part of a highly experienced and dynamic finance team, working in an international and complex structure consisting of 120+ legal companies in more than 30 countries. The ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Group Finance team acts as a competence center within many areas, including but not limited to accounting, controlling, consolidation, IFRS, internal control, transfer pricing and VAT. The position will be based at the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Division Headquarter in Landskrona.
What you will be doing
As a member of the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Group Finance team, you will be part in securing fast, reliant and transparent reporting of consolidated group figures for many different stakeholders. Our division is growing strongly both organically and through frequent acquisitions. This creates a dynamic and complex structure which the candidate will be an important part of restructuring, integrating and developing.
Being a Financial Controller in the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Group Finance team means that you will gain experience within a wide range of areas. In addition to the monthly closing process you will be part in numerus ad hoc projects such as acquisition accounting for newly acquired companies, planning and executing legal mergers, restatement of operational reporting, arranging training sessions for reporters and internal audit projects.
The position will require some travel as we are a team working in an international environment.
What we are looking for
We think that you are a highly motivated team player, who are not afraid of taking own initiatives and ownership. You are used to working with tight deadlines. You possess strong analytical skills, attention to details and have the ability to work in a structured way. To be successful in this role you have approximately 5 years relevant experience from an international auditing firm and/or from accounting and controlling in a large international company. You have experience with the group closing process in a large international company, including understanding the flow from entity reporting to consolidated reporting. You have good knowledge and understanding of IFRS. You hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or similar. As we operate in a truly global setting, your communication skills in English must be very good, both verbally and in writing. You have good skills in Microsoft Excel and find it easy and stimulating to learn new systems. Furthermore you have experience from working with a group consolidation system.
