The role is primarily responsible for providing sound financial advice and guidance to the Market cluster (Sweden & Denmark), ensuring that all financial reports are provided in a timely and accurate manner.

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Contribute to the financial development of the market with an opportunity to evolve and streamline processes with the current team.
Own the month end closing process, including bookings of financial transactions, by ensuring the integrity of financial statements, both P&L and balance sheet through on going follow-ups, adequate reconciliations and coordination with The Body Shop International
Responsible for driving the financial statements and statutory reports process together with external auditors and International colleagues.
Ensure tight financial control in all aspects of the markets operations, liaising with the Group, internal & external audit as appropriate
Support internal reporting towards The Body Shop International
Support the purchase order process in order to make sure all commitments are approved by management and that actuals are booked upon delivery of service
Manage Intercompany process between markets and International Finance
Provide support on financial aspects, budgets and follow ups
Support customers (Franchisees, Wholesale) with financial questions, stock queries etc.
Reporting of statistics as per market requirement
Manage of lease contracts in accordance to IFRS 16 guidelines
Fixed Assets Management.
Finance contact for store tills and card acquirers
Stay on top of regulatory changes, ensure relevant understanding and adaption in order to be regulatory compliant.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required academic qualifications with a business, finance or accounting degree
At least 5 year experience in Accounting
Working experience from retail or similar business field
Fluency in English and Swedish (and/or Danish)
SAP S/4 Hana knowledge
Sound knowledge of MS Office core programs with advanced skills in Excel
IDEAL EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES
Ability to drive your own projects and take initiatives
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
You enjoy digging in figures and appreciate details, yet can explain and link financial and information flows together.
Confidence working within a fast paced environment with multiple business partners

LOCATION: Stockholm head office at Södermalm, Münchenbryggeriet. Limited travelling within Sweden and to our office in Copenhagen
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full time 40 hours/week, 6 months' probation period followed by a permanent employment
START DATE: As soon as possible, according to agreement
