Sector description:
Electrolux Major Appliances Europe is our largest business sector. With 24,800 people and operations in every country in Europe, we have a solid understanding of European consumers needs and desires that allows us to provide innovative, thoughtfully designed products that help consumers create the homes they desire.
Objectives:
• By partnering with and working close with the business proactively drive the business agenda through financial and business analysis.
• To assist in delivering reliable data regarding financial situation of the Plant through cost control, which ensures correct realization of established budget.
Key operational responsibilites:
• Perform financial and operational analysis: activities related to monthly closing, weekly performance.
• Perform planning/forecasting: contribute to financial performance target setting; budgeting; quarterly reviews.
• Provide management reports (KPI) and provide information for decisions.
• Control the cost and expenditures of the following areas: Operational cost of the factory, Direct Material, Direct Labor, Fix Overhead Variables, Fixed Costs, Maintenance cost, Energy cost, Scrapping, Capital expenditures.
• Calculate Standard Costs for Finished goods
• Maintain and develop a data infrastructure that supports the needs and operational responsibilities of the business
• Develop and improve own methodologies, tools and processes in day-to-day work.
• Support the organization with various ad-hoc assignments invoice handling, SAP related issues.
• Analyze stock movements, inventory.
• Assist in the creation and calculation of investment requests and decisions and follow up on success criteria.
• Ensure that practices and policies are enforced: inform and educate organization about financial procedures and evaluate and improve policies.
Competencies needed:
• Strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling
• Computer skills (very good knowledge of MS Excel)
• The knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Preferred experience in controlling department in industrial environment
• Planning and forecasting
• Macro economics
• Business process improvement
Soft skills:
• Strong analytical skills
• Good organizational skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Proactive, solving problem "attitude"
