hela Sverige Publiceringsdatum2023-09-14ArbetsuppgifterOur client is currently seeking a Financial Controller (Q&L, Procurement and R&D) with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join the team. In this role, the Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of global spending, profit and loss (P&L), capital expenditures (capex), and cost of goods sold (cogs) for the designated departments. This includes providing reports for both actuals and forecasts, as well as budget and business plan (BPL) analysis.
Job assignments:
• Ensure accurate reporting of global spend, profit and loss (P&L), capital expenditure (capex), and cost of goods sold (cogs) through ERP and AARO systems
• Visualize and explain deviations from targets, year-over-year (YoY) and quarter-over-quarter (QbQ), for assigned departments and cogs categories
• Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis for group functions, such as financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and accounting
• Also, prepare consolidated actuals/forecasts for operational reviews and serve as a communication partner to the operation
• Drive the financial setup and preparation for multiple production sites, vehicles, and expanding markets
• Manage the accrual and capitalization process, including hour rate calculations, and ensure timely delivery of input to group accounting during month-end closing for assigned departments
• Consolidate total profit and loss (Q&L) and Procurement forecasts/budgets into Konstrukt/Anaplan, along with related cogs categories
• Provide supporting documents for internal and external audits related to assigned control functions
• Analyze and report on cost per car, including warranty, duty, logistics, and local distribution
• Manage the duty payment process
• Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
• Act as the C3 approver for assigned departments
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial controlling and the automotive industry
• Excellent business acumen
• Proficient knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Effective communication skills to interpret and convey financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders, including those without a finance background
• Proficiency in Excel and relevant ERP and business analytics tools
• Ability to handle ad hoc requests
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with global teams
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
