Samsung is looking for a Claim Analyst to join our Business Support/Finance team. As Claim Analyst your focus is to verify, analyze and compensate Samsung?s customer claims of price protections, sales allowance spot, bonuses, marketing support and other discrepancies against customer agreements. Our customers are large retail chains and other resellers. You will be working in our Kista Office and the role includes travel in the Nordic region.
Responsibilities:
• Verify, analyze and compensate customer claims of price protections, special pricing, bonuses, marketing support and other discrepancies
• Analyze and administrate the process from customer contract to compensation by considering contractual terms, order history, sales volume and old/new price lists in accordance with company guidelines
• Optimize lead time from claim to compensation
• Maintain and improve accrual accuracy based on analysis of results
• Decide and implement actions in order to manage optimal accruals based on customer contract terms, analysis of sales data and claims
• Analyse, identify and implement process improvements within above specified areas by sales divisions and customer
• Analyze accruals, balance reports, KPI reports and sales data
• Communicate condition reference numbers to colleagues in sales and to customers, in order to provide correct invoice references
• Develop and maintain good customer relations (contacts are mainly handled via e-mail and phone) and pro-actively drive improvement of claim process with customers
Suitable background:
• At least 2 years? experience from Finance and/or Accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge about SAP
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish as well as English
• University degree within Business Administration or equivalent
• Experience in office package, mainly Excel in advanced level
