The purpose of this position is to perform financial control of IT Projects and portfolios.
This individual position is needed to secure the right level of financial support and guidance within area of responsibility by providing premium quality and value added management reporting, analytical expertise and secure availability of transparent financial data to support best possible business decisions.
The main tasks:
? Ensure correctness of financial reporting and reasonableness of costs of IT Projects Volvo Cars Group
? Support the starting face of the projects, Investment and Spend requests from financial and administration side.
? Performing planning, targeting and forecasting when required
? Analysis of actuals of IT Projects and actively initiate corrective actions to secure financial targets and challenge operations to meet them.
? Identify and drive implementation of improvements and process development within area of responsibility
? Performance reporting to stakeholders
? Participate in operational meetings and as well as in finance to finance meetings
? Ad Hoc Projects and activities
Competence required:
? Good understanding of the organizational objectives and specific of operations, business acumen and curiosity
? Understanding of financial statements and how activities of area of responsibility contribute in their results, good understanding of the financial steering model
? High analytical skills
? Ability to solve short term and long term complex problems with limited guidance and support
? Ability to see the total picture and to work with details at the same time
? Ability to drive local processes improvements in methodological, consistent and at the same time flexible way
? Continues improvement, efficiency and best practices implementation mindset
? Personal ownership and accountability
? Change management
? High level of computer skills, desire and ability to learn and implement new technical solutions
Qualifications Required:
? Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Finance or other relevant area
? 1-3 years of experience in controlling
? High professional level of English both verbally and in writing
