Accounting & Company Control (ACC) is the accounting department within the Volvo Group. We supply the Volvo group with key competence within accounting and we are responsible for financial compliance in all legal entities. Based on the financial information provided by us the business can take strategic decisions. Being a true global organization we have daily interactions with stakeholders worldwide.
Job description:
In this position you will be Financial Controller for Volvo Truck Corporation, which is a legal entity acting as a joint company, main activities include the headquarter of BA Volvo Trucks, parts of Group Trucks Operations and Group Trucks Technology.

The Financial Controler supports the Chief Accountant and is responsible contact person for part of the Volvo organizations that we support. You will also become an accounting expert within certain accounting areas. The purpose of the job is to provide both internal and external parties with meaningful, accurate and timely legal entity financial information. The team should ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting for Volvo Truck Corporation.
One very important part of the job is to be updated with all the latest changes in accounting policies and reporting requirements, and to make sure these are implemented in the legal entity reporting. This will be done in close collaboration with your colleagues in Poland and India responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.

Preferred educational requirements and experience:
• Academic degree in economy/ finance or equivalent education
• Minimum of three years of advanced experience in the field of accounting
• Experience from SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
• Proficiency in Swedish and English both verbal and written
Preferred personal profile:
• Team player with a strong drive and positive attitude
• Able to build relationships, network and teamwork with all relevant stakeholders in a virtual international environment
• Good communication, presentation, listening and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and able to take decisions and drive change
• Strong customer/partner & quality focus and a personal drive to reach the set objectives and targets
• Generous approach and willingness to share knowledge and experience and ability to work through others
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and highly developed problem solving and analytical skills (holistic view with an eye for details)
