Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
Objectives / Intro
Purchasing has over the years become more and more business critical in Electrolux as it represents more than 70% of the Group costs and is instrumental to its competitiveness. As a consequence the areas of Controlling and Systems & Processes are ever more vital to supporting a successful purchasing function.
The main purpose of the role:
• Ensure reporting of the Purchasing savings results, and managing finance related projects for the Purchasing organization (Hedging, Supplier Financing, Total Cost of Ownership, .) as well as acting as the focal point for requests related to raw material and risks
• Drive the Purchasing systems & processes to support the results reporting in order to provide the purchasing community access to the information needed for analysis: cost variations, trends, commodity results and so forth
Key operational responsibilities
• Overall responsible for the Group's purchasing result planning, follow-up and reporting process. Further develop and drive improvements in the reporting landscape (systems, tools, analysis)
• Responsible for managing the team cost budget of central Purchasing, together with the Direct Materials and Indirect Materials controllers
• Align, train and instruct the different counterparts (Controllers in the Sectors as well as in other Group functions) to assure a standardized, aligned and accurate understanding of the requirements, guidelines and expectations
• Involvement in and/or responsible for various controlling/finance areas related to Purchasing such as the group's raw material hedging policy, supplier financing, cost modelling etc. Pro-active in developing new tools and processes to improve Purchasing manager analytics and decision making
• Define the strategy of Global Purchasing Systems & Processes
• Owner of all Purchasing processes, responsible for updates, simplification and compliance
• Owner of all Purchasing IT systems, responsible together with IT for running of systems and data quality
• Ensure proper execution of Systems projects, based on strategy and priorities
• Ensure collaboration and ownership is taken in the projects between S&P, Sectors and IT
• Monitor and ensure that systems in place are running accurately once launched, data integrity being extremely important
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
Competencies needed
• Education in economics/finance, mathematics or engineering
• A minimum of 7 years of business experience, specifically including international operational financial controlling, process development and systems
• Very good analytical skills, detail focused on results and proactive mindset
• Experience from business performance reporting and analysis
• Good interpersonal skills within a multinational environment, good at communicating and coaching
• Strong for analyzing data and making business conclusions and recommendations
• Able and willing to work also under time pressure to meet tough deadlines without jeopardizing the quality of the result
• Enthusiastic, energetic and proactive
• Very good system and software knowledge and in Project Management (Microsoft environment, SAP preferably)
Required languages
