The Financial Controller located in Kista, Stockholm is responsible for controlling the integrity and accuracy of the IFS P&L and balance sheet, as well as analysis of data and improvements of processes. The FC will play a key role in the finance department as a link between the accounting team and the business controllers. The FC will also be leading projects for development and improvements of the finance function.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Month end reporting and SAP month end processes and submissions in HFM (including reconciliations to HFM and BW as required).
Balance sheet reconciliations
Assistance with Statutory Accounts preparation including notes.
Assistance with Tax Calculations and annual returns.
Analysis of actuals vs budget (ZBB).
Analysis of large amounts of data.
Significant involvement in the budget process.
Leading/taking an active part various finance projects.
Development and improvements of financial processes.
Ad hoc tasks requested by the Senior Accounting Manager or the Finance Director.
Qualifications
Education:
• Finance relevant university degree educated
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance analysis or reporting role, including profit and loss/balance sheet analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel user
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with HFM is preferred.
• Experience with Swedish Statutory Accounts production
• Experience with Swedish Annual Tax returns
• Experience of analysis of large amounts of data
Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
• Must possess excellent financial and analytical skills including experience creating complex excel spreadsheets
• Knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge of Swedish Statutory Accounts and Swedish Annual Tax returns
• Ability to interpret large amounts of financial data in a clear, concise and organised manner.
• Able to develop effective KPI monitoring tools and efficiently communicating results through the use of supporting tables, graphs, and presentation quality materials.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, solve problems, make recommendations, and draw valid conclusions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with management and staff.
• Must demonstrate sound judgment and reasoning skills.
Ability to prioritise and successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
Language / Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written Swedish and English skills
