We are growing and need to strengthen our Accounting department, consisting of two teams focusing on our different regions. We are 11 people working closely together with the task of planning, implementing and analyzing financial statements for Stena Line's lines and legal entities. We are located in newly renovated, modern facilities at our headquarters in Gothenburg and are a diverse group of friendly colleagues.
What will you do?
This is an excellent opportunity to get a good insight into an international organization where you will get to work with a variety of different tasks in a complex environment. We are trying to get a smooth close and reporting process, which means that data is shared between different individuals. As robotics and digitalization is on our agenda there will be an opportunity to be part of that development as well so be prepared for the role changing over time.
Other areas of responsibility that you will be part of include:
• development of routines and processes
• ensuring that we comply with local legislation and the Group's accounting principles
• provide support and expertise to the business
• support and education to other departments within both Finance and our lines
• internal control
Who are you?

A genuine interest in systems and integration will come in handy. We believe that you already have experience from inventory accounting and that you love it!
The must-have's:
• M.Sc in Business and Economics (Civilekonom) or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years of qualified work experience from accounting, preferably from an audit firm or international company
• An understanding of financial flows
• A true Excel wizard
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Experience in JD Edwards and Aaro is definitely an advantage
• Experience from VAT reporting as well as knowledge in IFRS and statutory reporting is a big plus!
